MU.LAB 2.6.3 has been released:
  • Tuned: Start-Loop-End marker issue when exporting MIDI file and re-importing this in MU.LAB itself
  • Fixed: Problem in 2.6.2 with loading Synthia, Sampla, MultiSampla, MuVerb and Stereo Echo patches
If you already have installed MU.LAB 2.5.5 or higher then you can just install the latest application patch following these instructions:

http://www.mutools.com/mulab/mulab-upda ... -patch.txt

That way you don't have to re-setup anything.

If you did not yet install MU.LAB you can download the full package from http://www.mutools.com/downloads.html

Woo Hoo!! Thanks for the fix and update!

I just tried opening Synthia from the Rack View and it worked great:) However, when opening Synthia from the Modular View Musynth still opens instead of Synthia...

I can't repeat that using MU.LAB 2.6.3.

Can you please give me the exact steps how to repeat this?

Thanks!

Sure, I have a project that has Synthia on Rack A. When I open Synthia from Rack A it opens fine, no problems. Now, I go to the Edit tab and open the Modular view. From the Modular View, I double click on the Synthia module and it opens Musynth instead of Synthia. I hope this helps...

I still can't repeat it :?

Also, when i do

* New session
* Insert Synthia in Rack A, slot 1
* I see normal Synthia editor, i close it
* I press F2 to open the Modular Plugin Area (MPA)

Now i don't see a Synthia, as you described, because the Synthia is in Rack A. So i first double-click Rack A in the MPA, then i can double-click Synthia, then i get the expected Synthia editor. Is it alo these steps you did?

I can't find where you see the MuSynth editor on editing Synthia.

Really hope you can enlight me!

Ok, I think I figured out what's going on :)

I just tried again by starting with a new session and it was as you described - and everything is working wonderfully.

Before, I was doing this in a previous session, one that was made using 2.6.2. I must have left a Synthia in the modular area because I just now noticed that it had a (2) after it (and I inserted this while in the modular area so it was there by itself and not in a rack, my bad). It must have been seeing that and still opening that as Musynth. The Synthia that was in rack A wasn't the same Synthia. Sorry for confusing both you and me :( .

Bottom line - as is well!! :D

Yes, that explains it: the session was saved with 2.6.2.

Best to replace that 'damaged' Synthia with a 'fresh' Synthia, i'm sure you know what i mean.
