How do I download Emergent Drums?
Emergent Drums is currently an invite-only purchase. If you are invited by a current user, head to the purchase page to buy Emergent Drums. After purchase, a download link will be sent to the email address you used to sign up.

Is there a demo version to try out before I buy?
There is not currently a trial version of Emergent Drums which we know is stupid, but we're working on it. The closest thing we have to a trial is our 30-day money-back guarantee, which again, we know is stupid, but we're working on it.

Best to read all the FAQ first.

Does it work offline?
The samples you generate are stored locally and, once on disk, Emergent Drums can be used offline to play your samples, e.g. at live shows, recording studios, or on a plane. Emergent Drums only requires internet to generate new samples.

Yeah, I did read the other FAQs, however, looks like the invite-only thing is not applicable now and one can buy it direct or through the current APD deal.

Was someone able to buy the 8dio $10 French Horn sale?
I've been trying to access the cart and the despite the 4 browsers tried, permissions allowed, cookies cleanup, etc... the process stops right after the cart's icon appears with a "1" added but then fails to open the actual shopping cart page while displaying a "loading" message.
The sale ends today and wouldn't like to miss it.

At least I can access to before "complete order" button with $10 price. I guess no glitch there.

Not here. Even went for the phone browsers and faced the same stall just before opening the cart...

I am wondering if there is a country/geographic limitation to this sale so am again remembered that Brave's browser free VPN is available no more.
I´ll have to check the disgusting minefield of accessing VPNs with the remote hope of finding a one off + no subscription candidate...

Anybody got a spare unregistered Waves Codex synth? I remember demoed it a while ago, and it got some great presets.
Is Waves giving the synth for free for some time ago?

The Multi-View is cool. Other than that, the only thing you might need it for is the Auto-Tune effect.

Normally I just ignore anything when I see the "AI" label on it, but this looks like an interesting and cool drum plugin. Has anyone tried and recommend it? Does it generate drum machine type samples only or just any type (electronic/acoustic/hybrid)?

I think I tested this. And back then there were several things which held me back.
Subscription was one thing, they changed their model now to perpetual. But online only generation is another downside. Also the controls were very basic back then(and it looks like it's not that much more now) . Compared against similar priced drum libraries, there's not too much benefit from being ai when I can buy a 30k samples library like from wave alchemy for the same price with more control / features / effects etc.

I agree with you guys. I also have the Samples From Mars collection and a plethora of samples and loops, so I decided to skip Emergent Drums. Interesting concept, but not really necessary.
