Boxed version?
When have you bought your last? Normally nowadays a boxed version contains a little card with a download link and a serial number. No cd anymore. That's because anything being burnt on a cd is probably already outdated on the day you'd buy it, and you'd have to download the update anyway...
I like the idea of usb-sticks though. Might catch that up in a year or two.

Heehee... I had a feeling I'd get these reactions!
Funny thread though
... I suppose I just lust after something tangible in a digital world
(and it'd go nice next to my Live/Kontakt/Absynth/FabFilter boxes on the shelf)

You can design and print your own box and put it on the shelf.littlejim84 wrote:Heehee... I had a feeling I'd get these reactions!

I totally forgot about it, but I always wanted to design a box and everything which I'd upload as .pdf somewhere. That way everyone can print out his nown box, even with a sticker containing his serial number.pdxindy wrote:You can design and print your own box and put it on the shelf.
