Bass making with sylenth?

Hi!

I have quite big problems to get smooth stabby basslines like martin roth/Gareth emery with sylenth.

I have try make pulse/saw combination bass, but the bass sounds always like is it "out of tune". Example i have try with these waveforms-> pulse -2 octave and saw -1 octave And other way round (retrig is on). Is the problem with phase? How much i have to phase waves and witch oscilators, pulse or saw.

Or is it just detune/eq question or maybe different waveforms for bass. I dont know is this a silly question but this is really problem to me

Is there any cool presets for cool basses or any ideas to make smoot/clean bass with sylenth1.

I would have to look into this "out of tune" business myself, but there are around 1300-1500 presets (I lost count ) that ship with Sylenth1.

There are many bass sounds you could check out and then tweek more to your liking.
