unzipped

ran zebra231installer (typical installation)

I now have a u-he folder in my program files but no way to run zebra

Zebra is not a standalone instrument but a plugin called a VSTi. You need a program to like savihost, Cantabile Lite, or one of many DAWs such as Live or Reaper.

I recommend savihost as the simplest solution. Just remember to copy the .exe into the directory with Zebra2.dll then rename it to Zebra2.exe.
