HarpTime Demo Problems - Are these demo limitations?

Hello, I've been trying out the HarpTime demo tonight, and I've noticed two issues that aren't mentioned anywhere on the NUSofting site or in the demo documentation, so I don't know if they're actual problems, or whether the demo was designed this way.

First off, every few seconds it mutes the instrument sounds and plays a really loud electronic squelching sound.

The second issue is that I can only play it for about 5 minutes and then all of the audio dies, even the intermittent sound. I have to shut down my DAW and restart it to get it working again. I am using Cubase 5.0 and running HarpTime as a VST.

I figure the intermittent sound issue is probably intentional, but there's no way I'm buying the instrument until I'm sure that the 5-minutes-of-playtime thing is a demo-only thing as well.

(The product seems pretty good, otherwise.)
