I got two suggestions , one is about preset managing and the other is a preset maker
so , about presets , theres is one link here that takes you to lots of free presets , so i downloaded them and installed them,
it took a lotta time and some dont sound, but even worse, the nice way Urs did of having in one folder ALL the basses and ALL the pads in one folder wich is great, now the new ones are just placed below this categorized folder .
so, it would be great to have all those presets really configured, but this is dificult right ?
so another solution would be , that from now on every time you make a new preset you must write at least one categoty , like : Bass
you could add more gaterigories and so have sub folders.
but just one is enought to have everyhing in order.
The preset making would be something like :
create a : Bass - distorded - arpeggio - funk - etc..
so , zebra would take a sinewave at C2 , then it would dirty it by changing the sine to something with more harmonics , or a waveshaper if you wanted, then add an arpeggio and a wawa tipo of filter .
but you dont actually set iy all , for example to make a sound more dirty you would distorted, add chorus or use a dyrty waveform , well these effects would be randomized with certain limits and so create a new sound bassed on concepts no really having to go thrue the tecnicall side of programming.
of course when creating a bass , it would also add a nice eq to it.
