Problem running Native-Instruments Service Center

I'm trying to update Kontakt to 3.5 via the direct install.

I managed (I think) to get the main program installed (although it still doesn't show up in the synth list) and the Service Center got launched for authorization. However, the Service Center window will not stay visible, it keeps being covered by the Receptor window. If I click on Run Utility, the Service Center is on the little menu that pops up but when I click it, the Service Center flashes visible for a moment and is then re-covered over by the Receptor window.

There must be a way to stop Receptor window from doing this.

Anyone have any idea? It's very frustrating.

Thanks,
David Jameson

Never mind --- I just discovered the list of "special keys" in the VNC viewer for Receptor. Cmd-Option-Escape seems to work to bring Service Center to the top.

Well, now that I can get Service Center up, I have more new issues:

1) Kontakt 3.5 does not show up in the list, even though it seemed to be installed properly through Direct Install

2) Service Center is suggesting that I update many of the plugins (not Kontakt, though) and I've no idea if those updates will actually work on the Receptor. Should I update them?

3) It looks like I will need to invoke some of these updates from the command line or a "Windows desktop" or menu --- how do I actually invoke windows programs directly on the Receptor? (I realize that they run via WINE)
