MFM2 forgets activation on win7?

my first post, so hello everybody

i've switched on my PC to windows 7 and everything runs fine, only MFM2 make problems. After i inserted my name and serial MFM says "Thanks for purchasing..." and everything is ok but after 5- 10 minutes or when i reload the plugin it is again in demo-mode and the noise and the crackling comes again. so i've read somewhere here in the forum that it may help to switch the copyprotection of the folders in my programmsfolder off, but it not really helped. so hopefully someone can help me with this...

and of course some last words: Urs, your stuff is awesome i have also zebra 2 and ACE and i must say your stuff are the best musical investments i've ever made!!! can't wait for berlin modular...

That certainly means that MFM2 can't write to C:\Program Files\u-he\Support\

You may want to regsiter in a small host such as SaviHost and start that as administrator.

You could also install this:

It's some kind of beta that I put up for those emergencies when W7 flips out. It allows you to put the MFM2.data folder anywhere, so you can put it in an area such as C:\Users\Public\Documents\ where W7 does't complain and doesn't act like adware.

Please let me know if that works.

(another idea is, create a text file just like com.u-he.Zebra2.user.txt in Wordpad, where your user name and your code is in a line each, and save it as com.u-he.MFM2.user.txt)
