I just upgraded to Zebra 2.5, and it is failing. The last version I had (2.1 perhaps?) worked fine. In Cubase, it won't generate sound. In V-stack (another vst host by Steinberg), it crashes upon note-on on most presets. Is this an SSE2 issue? (The AMD XP 3200+ CPU doesn't have SSE2.) If so, could you compile a non-sse2 version? Otherwise, what version do I need to downgrade to, to return to non-sse2-dependent? Thanks for any help or ideas!
Best,
Marc Jameson

I hope that works out for you.
Looks like the new XMF filter types rely on SSE2 now. The last released version of Zebra was 2.3.1: http://zebrasynth.com/download/Zebra231Winstaller.zipSystem requirements (PC):
* Intel compatible processor
* Windows 2000, XP or newer
* 1 GHz CPU with support for SSE2
I hope that works out for you.

I would love to compile a non-SSE2 version but it would be really difficult. I would have to rewrite large parts of various modules (not only the XMF, also other filters) which were hand coded in an assembly-like fashion. Needless to say, these versions would run considerably slower though...
