Zombie thread alert
I'm posting this because Cakewalk and Sweetwater are running a sale on Rapture, so a lot of folks may be wondering if it's Receptor-friendly.
I'm running Rapture 1.22 on Muse Receptor 2 Pro Max with latest 1.9.x OS. I dropped the 1.2.1 installer in the "Drop Installers Here" folder and ran the install from the Setup screen. I installed the VST only in the unsupported plugins folder (may not have been necessary). I refreshed plugins and instantiated it, and was even able to launch firefox and register the plugin! Nice.
No issues so far.

FWIW I was able to do this on my Receptor 2 (OS 1.9). Just dropped the setup exe in my Drop Installers Here folder, went to the Receptor Setup, and clicked Install 1 File (making sure no plugins were loaded up). I clicked Cancel when prompted to download the Gecko engine... no issues with that. I selected My Documents when prompted to extract files for the install. Install went smoothly.
There are offline options for registering, or if your Receptor can see the Internet, I _believe_ that can work.
Works great so far.

Ok, so SOME issues encountered. Certain patches won't play at all. Need to figure out what they have in common and go from there.
UPDATE: after rebooting, they all work fine.
