Hello,

I was reading the drum recycling tutorial from MUTOOLS site but I'll like to know

1. If it is possible to monitor audio while setting markers
2. If its possible to play Multisampla mono-phonically (set to 1 note polyphone) so samples cut each other.
3. Is it is possible to turn a sample dropped in a track an its markers to a multisample.
4. Set different pitches for each sample in a kit.

What Im trying to achieve is play samples in an MPC style, chopping samples and playing with the beat.

Not directly.

But you can play the MIDI keyboard while changing the locators, this way you can monitor things too.

Not yet. (it's on the whishlist)

But you can set a very short release time and stop playing a note once another starts, so it's possible to reach that same effect.
3. Is it is possible to turn a sample dropped in a track an its markers to a multisample.
An Audio File (that's audio on a track) can be converted to a Sample:

Goto the Audio Lab
Select All
Context menu -> Create New Sample From Selection

Samples can be mapped to a MultiSample using the Sample's context menu -> Create MultiSample Using Locators.

So by combining these things you can create a MultiSample from an Audio File.

Ah, but wait, i see that the Audio File's "Create New Sample From Selection" does not yet include the locators. This will be improved in M3.

Anyway, if you want to slice/chop samples, it's better to use Samples not Audio Files, because Samples can be pitched, Audio Files cannot.
4. Set different pitches for each sample in a kit.
Doubleclick a multisample zone => there you'll find all detailed parameters for that zone, including a pitch parameter.

Hope this helps, else let me know.
