Yeah, me too 8-)

The only real problem I have with Win VST versions is the user interface stuff. But since VST's standard ui went open source, some people are activly improving it in a way that meets my needs. Hence there's a good chance we'll see Zebra and the other things on Win as well, with some luck by Q1 2004. - I have to buy a PC first, though :o

The more feedback delay is way wacky and fun to use, I have to say. Good to see you here at the k-v-r company forums.

Urs! This is good news!

Maybe a few of us can get together to make some tutorials and how-to's for MFM. Or will it be changing so much that we shouldn't bother?

Post

He, thanks everybody!

Pough, MFM2 will certainly be completely different from MFM1, but latter will still be around, maybe with some little enhancements as well (I have to improve the gui for Windows version!!!).

So, any tips would be highly appreciated. - I'd also still love to get some presets from the community ;)

Zebra's delay already has sync-to-host and stuff, it also has sorta 8-channel MFM for the reverb (sic!).

Yeah, can't wait to get that stuff out to you... my damn daily job still keeps me busy though... hehe, only 2 months until I'm free...

I just made a preset for MFM. It uses all four lines of delay, bouncing a signal left-to-right at increasing speed and ending with a bit of a ringing sound.

Hey! you've knocked Tracktion of the eh...bottom of the Forums list! No Fair! :D

Seriously, MoreFeedbackMachine is great fun, I really must try and use it 'seriously' soon (very interactive controls...)

haha... yeah...

but don't underestimate this forum... it's not for More Feedback Machine alone... (although I think it's absolutely valid to have one for MFM...)

... I think with the public beta release of my new softsynth (scheduled for end of this week) this forum will gather nice traffic :D

Hi,

yes, I'm sorry, but OS9 is definately gone for me. - You must know, as a developer one permanently produces bugs. This is mainly what development is all about. In OS9, a bug typically means a reboot, while in OS X it's just a click to restart your test application. Once I had noticed this comfort (basically shortly after MFM release one year ago), I was lost for OS 9...

Hehe.. another thing that prevents me from booting into 9 is my new computer of course. After 4 fruitful years with my ancient first generation G4 450MHz, I have spent two month salaries on a brushed metal cheese grater with 1.8 GigaHertz...

I believe the future of Mac audio belongs to Audio Units. - And as long as I'm a one-man-show with a daily job for food, I simply can't do support for multiple platforms. I hope that will change soon, but I'd rather spend time in convincing people to check out X than myself booting into 9...

I mean, for X you can get a lot of free Audio Unit host applications to use my plugins with, even for instruments...

Cheers,

;) Urs
