I'm working on a pc, windows 7 64bit.
I bought thesys today and was trying it out in Ableton live 8, my main sequencer. (running it as administrator)
The routing went fine, but suddenly the vst, in this case unique and another time sylenth stopped playing. Thesys was still running as was Ableton. Didn't remember doing anything "strange"
But once i had the same issue when it thesys was running controlling Sylenth, also ableton was playing some samples. And I loaded in a Consequence into a new midi track while playback. Then the Sylenth stopped playing. I tried rerouting, rebooting ableton and loading prjoject, different patch in sylenth but nothing got it to play the incoming midi. It did receive midi notes from my keyboard.
Anyone know what causes this issue?

Make sure to activate the monitor 'in' button.
Another reason could be that Thesys is not playing for a while,
then Live unfortunatly deactivates it. To workaround you would have to always output something from Thesys. You can make a modulation track for an unsused cc for example and output it all the time.
