it'll "hiccup" when the change is triggered. sometimes a measure or two will go by before the new patch is heard

Zebra doesn't switch patches instantly. This is especially true if you have FX units like delays and big reverbs.
You have two options:
1. wait for the sound to die out on the current preset, send the patch change, wait a "short while" for the preset to be properly loaded.
2. load two instances of zebra and avoid PC.
Both have their ups and downs. PC works great if you have a rest between presets; not so great if you have to change sounds very quickly.

Huh?!? It's not instantly?
I know that browsing presets can have incredible lags (mostly on AU), but the MIDI Program Changes are supposed to be instant (that's why the presets in MIDI Programs/ are loaded into RAM upon first instance)
Hmmm... Can someone send me a Live project that exhibits the problem?

I didn't report it back because that's how it always worked with 2.3, I didn't think it was a new bug. Glad to see with MIDI PC Urs does consider it one.sinzero wrote:I guess you didn't report this back to Ursbmrzycki wrote:Zebra doesn't switch patches instantly.
I hope it gets solved soon.
