Can Melda dynamics do DE expansions?

Well, this sounds to me like a simple compression with output gain increased. Or you may use both "processors" to compress to lower parts and louder parts even more. And if not, you can just click the "pencil" above the shape editor and draw whatever you want

Put the compressor into draw mode, create a dot in the middle, so you have 3 dots, create another dot just under the middle dot, and drag that dot to the bottom. That will give you gate effect, which you can adjust so you only hear the area you dont want compressed. Once you have it set to where you want it, reset that lower middle dot back to the center, and start slowly raising the 'line curve' dot, or whatever it's called. The curve just below the dot you lowered. You will hear it start to bring up all the lower noises without squashing the top.
