Does the filter control section over ride the filter section? or does it control it to the limits set by the filter section?
I'm having a hard time understanding/hearing their interaction.
With just 1OSC Saw and experimenting with the cutoff.
It sounds like the Filter Control is an extra filter not controling what's happening in Filter A...
What is happening when Filter A is open all the way and Filter Control is closed? Why isn't the Filter Control just over riding the Filter A section? Am I hearing the difference?

The filter control is additive, just like all modulation is. It is not an extra filter, it just adds to the cutoff and resonance settings of the filters.
If it would override the filter settings, it wouldn't be of any use. Now you can set filters A and B to a certain cutoff/resonance and 'modulate' both filter settings with the filter control knobs at the same time. The filter control knobs are the same thing as the Cutoff AB and Resonance AB modulation destinations.
