Been modulating the Detune but is this the exact same thing? Sorry if this is a stupid question, going through some tutorials and they say to modulate the pitch of an oscillator so just want to know if it's the same.

No, it isn't. If you wanna do audio rate modulation of oscillators then check out uhe ACE

Modulate 'tune' not 'detune' to modulate the pitch of the osc...

Been using the demo of ACE a bit and it does really sound like a great synth, little bit intimidating though for me at the moment but definitely a future purchase.
