Anyone out there had trouble upgrading Elektrik Piano 1 to 1.5?
I did it using direct install, and its gone all weird. Service Centre shows both as installed but only 1.5 as authorised.
Obviously I don't need both, but I can't work out how to rid the Receptor of V1...and, heres the doozy, it now makes NO SOUND!
Really rather annoying as Rhodes is pretty much the main sound I need from the receptor, and I was loving the sound of Elektrik Piano.
I am also having major issues with Guitar RIg. I think this has been briefly covered in other threads, but the fact that the 201, and memory man emulators both don't work at all is infuriating...
Would maybe both these things be sorted if I upgraded to Komplete 6?
Elektrik Piano and Gat Rig issues.

Hi Samuel,
Sorry to hear of your issues. I haven't had the problems you had with Elektrik Piano - and I have had some issues with Guitar Rig.
I would send a message to NI Tech support and ask them which Elektrik Piano files you need to manually remove from your system such that Service Center only shows the 1.5 installation. BTW - If you rely on EPianos, I would suggest to check out the Scarbee EPianos (especially the vintage collection). I've always found these to be much more playable and detailed then Elektrik Piano. I believe NI now sells all of the Scarbee instruments.
Regarding Guitar Rig, this has been nothing but problems for me on Receptor - Especially GR from Komplete 5 (crashes Receptor on many of the presets. Muse has explained to me that NI's implementation of digital delay is buggy). I'm hoping this fixed in Komplete 6 - but I haven't tried it yet.
Hope this helps. Regards,
Kevin L

thanks Kevin,
sussed out the EP 1.5 thing. For starters I don't think I actually needed to upgrade, in that I 1.5 seemed to be what was on the K 5 disk install disks, so I assume that was already on my receptor. Duh, well anyway I re-installed from the disks, it still didn't work. Then I compared the Sample Library folders from my mac and the Receptor. There were a few extra files on my mac. Copied them over and it worked.
I rang the Muse dealer about gat rig, they said the update to 3.2.1 (as opposed to 3.1.1) should fix the delay issue. Sadly when I try and install the upgrade it fails every time. Maybe I'll try using 'unsupported; install instead of direct install.
I guess its un-likely that Muse (or NI) will be rushing out little support thingies for GR 3 now anyway, so I'll be ordering the Komplete 6 package and hope that works.
Apart from those two delays everything on Guitar Rig seems to work okay. I'm only getting crashes while in network mode.
