Effectrix not displaying fonts or parameters settings. HELP!!!

I wonder if someone could help me!

I'm having a massive nightmare with Effectrix.

Every time i try and use it i cannot see any of the parameter settings or any of the presets however everything seems to work fine, just the fact i cant see what settings i have. I think this may be an issue with the fonts but i have checked all the fonts in font book (OSX) and they are fine.

I have tried reinstalling Effectrix completely and i still have the same problem. I am running it within Logic pro 9 but the issue is still present within Ableton Live.

I have tried all the obvious things like, repair disk permissions, validated all fonts etc.

If anyone could help me that would be great.

I'm sure that the airal font is enabled in font book. I have valadated the font in font book in OSX and it all seems fine

Maybe it has to do with the personal font book. This type of problem really means that Effectrix has no access to the Arial font,

Do you know how I gain access to the personal font book then?

In your font book, there is one collection for the computer and one which is exclusive for the user. Usually the user folder is empty, please check yours.

maybe just deactivate, then re-activate the Arial Font in Computer,
then reboot your system.
Then the font should be there, I just got this working.

User font folder is empty and i have just deactivated and re activated the arial font but still no joy.

One thing i have noticed is that the parameters are being displayed in the "Size" knob but no where else. When i turn the knob the parameter diaplay does not change but the setting does if that makes scence. I have uploaded a screen shot to explain...

Hi guys,

i had another look and on my system, and here it's as easy as putting the Arial.ttf font into any font folder.
Here is a link to a Arial.ttf font just in case you don't have it.

Please try putting it into your system font folder (MacHD:Library:Fonts) as well as into your user font folder (~:Library:Fonts)
