I noticed that my Zebra doesn't recognize any input from my right-mouseclicks.
Anyone knows of this issue? It is quite frustrating, as I can't do much synthesis, as i can't add any filters or osc's or anything.

I run it through Cubase 5, on a Win7 64-bit system.

Try using the vst host on this page instead.

If that works, then it is probably a setting in Cubase you can change to control mouse behavior. Look in the Cubase preferences or manual for giving mouse control to the plugin.

It worked fine in savihost. Had to use it to enter my license key. I'll look it up in the manual, and give response.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hey, i looked into the manual, and after an hour of looking, i still found nothing. Anyone got some other ideas?
Is it possible that this is caused due to the fact that I am running a 64-bit OS? Cause when i have the Zebra in my program files(x86) folder it doesn't show up. I had to move it to the (x64) folder.

In this case, anyone has a bridge or soemthing? I was looking forward to using this VST, but yet it has only brought me concern and a headache.

All u-he plugins are currently not 64-bit native but Urs has said that's something he's planning on working on this year. If you're on a 64-bit OS you have two options:

1. Run a 32-bit DAW and 32-bit plugins.
2. Run a 64-bit DAW and use some sort of bridge for 32-bit plugins.

The problem with #2 is the bridge solutions aren't perfect. Some hosts come with bridging solutions and some people are working on 64->32 VST loading bridges. I've heard varying levels of success with these. It hardly sounds production-ready though.

FYI, I'm on Windows 7 64-bit but I run Reaper 32-bit and have zero problems with Zebra.

I know at least one professional sound designer for Zebra uses Cubase (Michael Kastrup) and hasn't complained about keyboard or right-click problems in Zebra. If at all possible try running the 32-bit version of Cubase and see if that helps.

I think it's the bridge... for some reasons it doesn't give me right-clicks...

I'm *eagerly* working on 64-bit VST Win now.

Thanks for the replies. My Zebra is currently the only plugin that is a 32-bit appliation, and i don't won't to do the 32-bit systems yet. Guess i will just have to play with it in savihost and make presets there until there is support for it.

Really looking forward to see Zebra in 64-bit! Zebra is a great synth, and I'm looking forward to some full implementation!

You could also try using an audio-midi router to get Zebra (using savi host) to direct the audio-midi into cubase.

For now i just installed a 32-bit version of Cubase. Steinberg will soon relase Cubase 5.5, where they claim to have improved their VST bridge. Will be interesting to see if it's actually improved.
