Hi all,
I have a Receptor 2 Pro Max on its way!!
Few questions i have regarding the unit.
Have had a good read thru the forums already, hope the answers to these questions are out there...
My setup will be 2 controller keyboards and a Fender Rhodes 73.
I basically want to be playing B4 ii with the top controller and a piano vst (yet to be decided) with the other controller. Each controller will send on different midi channels and correspond with receptors individual channels midi settings -A few posts here have indicated this is possible.
At the same time this is happening can i put the Rhodes thru the receptors anaolgue in, and maybe chuck a tremelo effect on its channel..?
If this IS possible, im going to have organ/piano/rhodes coming out of the receptor all at once, which leads me to my next question :
The receptor only has 1 stereo out. Is there a way (adat) to have multiple outs (so the sound guy has more control over different instruments at FOH?)
Thanks in advance!
Sam
Just purchased a Receptor 2 Pro Max, some questions please!

Kashmir95,
Here's some previous discussion on a similar topic: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=. The Receptor has only two analog output but several digital output channels. In your example, it seems like you would need 6 outputs (3 stereo), so you will need to use the ADAT output channels.
I'm not sure what kind out analog outputs your Rhodes has, but yes, you can use the Receptor's analog audio inputs at the same time you're using MIDI instruments - and put any effects you want on it.
Have fun with your new Receptor!

hi
just bought this Gefen SPDIF converter
http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=5279
you'll find it for USD 55 at amazon.com
you can e.g. route the piano to the SPDIF output, and use the analog to feed an amp (e.g. the B4)
etc
