Demo of Sylenth1 works but the Full version crashes?!

I'm stumped on this. I have Windows 7 64-bit and the 64-bit demo version of Sylenth1 works fine in Cubase 5.1.1 x64. However, when I bought the Sylenth1 2.2 full version, I uninstalled the demo and installed the full version and now when I try to load up Sylenth1 as a VST instrument in Cubase it crashes with a generic Cubase crash.

I've gone back and installed the 2.2 demo version and again, that works fine... only the full version has problems in Windows 7 64-bit. I'm using the 2.2 full version that was sent to me in the email after purchasing. This sure is a bummer considering the investment I made.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I've tried 32-bit bridging with Cubase's built in bridging and also with JBridge, both load the 32-bit Sylenth1 but I get no audio from Sylenth1 :(

I'm not simply complaining in public. I went to the website and clicked "Support", so this is promoted by the developer to be a proper support channel. How should any random customer like myself know that this is run by 1 guy? Or that I should even think to email them directly? I thought this might have been some user error on my part so I am posting here to get feedback.. maybe it's a known problem.

There's no reason to come into the thread and be an ass.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm looking for help. Stop trolling and go elsewhere since you clearly don't have an answer.

Some good news!! As others on the forum have reported, Cubase 5's built in bridging works fine for this application. I didn't realize that with the full version I needed to point it at the license file just to get any audio output at all (I thought it would be limited demo mode until you license).

So for now I'm able to use the 32-bit version fine so far :) :) :)

Still would be nice to get the 64-bit version working but as long as I have something I'm happy.

That won't help since the 64bit version of Sylenth1 doesn't work in windows 7 atm.
It works in vista 64bit but not in Windows 7 :(

64-bit Sylenth1 has a lot of problems, as I have noticed. I would recommend installing 32-bit Cubase with 32-bit Sylenth1. I've got Sylenth working on 64-bit Windows 7 with 32-bit Ableton and 32-bit Sylenth.

I agree :)
The 32bit version works great if your host have a 32bit bitbridge.

Ahh I suppose I need to post a bunch of useless stuff like you guys to get into some exclusive forum club before asking a question about my $200 software?

Get over yourselves seriously.

I have the exact same problem as you. The demo works fine, but the full version crashes with Cubase 6 (I run the 64-bit version in Windows 7 ultimate). I have tried both the 32-bit version as well as the 64-bit version. The 32-bit version is suppose to work with the Cubase VST bridge, but to no avail. I run other plugins without any problems like this.

Hope there will be a fix for this soon.. :(

1. The 32bit version runs fine in Cubase bit bridge, if you can't make it work you're doing something wrong.
2. The 64bit version runs fine too, but you need the latest version of Sylenth1 (you can download it via MENU -> Check for updates). Makes me wonder where you downloaded the outdated version?
