Hi all,
I did some different search function word combinations, but couldn't find a thread that matched; so here goes:
While I have extensive programming experience with hardware synths (also software instruments - native and third party - within the Logic Pro environment), I'm a bit of a noob here: am finding my Receptor 2 Pro Max to be powerful, but challenging to learn - especially the File/Save Hierarchy system between plug-in level, Patch level, and Multi level. I'm digging through this site for a simple, direct tutorial on saving edits, Patches, & Multi's. I'm having some difficulty actually saving files, being able to move them around, etc. On my PC3 it's a breeze to save a program, then utilize it within any Setup I choose; selecting and editing Programs and Setups is simple and direct, like most other hardware I've owned. Comparatively, the Receptor's plug-in, Patch, & Multi system isn't set up like most hardware ROMplers; seems a bit cryptic to me.
Any thoughts, tutorials to which you can point me would be greatly appreciated. Muse tech support stated that some of the answers to my questions were in the manual (which, in its' original form isn't too great; Muse is apparently working on an updated manual. Actual 'how to', 'hands on' examples would help greatly.). The videos I've found, so far, show the instructor stepping quickly through the functions I've described, on their way to explaining something else. Obviously, this is a simple issue to resolve; I just need to understand how the programming 'flow' of Receptor works. Ideally I want to be comfortable using my own saved regular Multi's for sequencing/studio applications, and having Snapshot Multi's for live use.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
