Just bought my copy a couple days ago.

...sold my Virus Ti today. :)

Great work U-He!

:help:

I have had one problem in Logic 9 that has been bugging me, some of the patches that use Delay 1 end up with a high pitched distortion. It is more apparent in some than others.

HS Bid Droplet is a good example. The attack and decay is fine, as the sound fades away this very loud distortion kicks in an stays until I switch patches.

I am really new to Zebra so I am not positive it's the Delay 1 module however if I swap Delay 1 for Delay 2 the problem goes away.

I do not experience this in GarageBand on the same computer.

I would appreciate any insight.

thanks.

Hrm. Just tried several notes of this preset in Reaper 3.4, Windows 7. I don't hear any delay artifacts.

Are you running Logic at a different sample rate than Garageband? Are you using any other plugins in your Logic chain that aren't present in the GB chain?

Which version of OS X are you running? On OS 10.5.8 in Logic 9.1.1 the "HS Big Droplet" preset is sounding normal.

Maybe try deleting the Logic AU cache, to force a rescan & validation of all AU plug-ins.

1. Quit Logic
2. Delete this file:

/Users/<user name>/Library/Caches/com.apple.audiounits.cache

3. Start Logic again

All AU's will be scanned and re-validated, which could take a while if you have a lot installed. Sometimes rebuilding the AU cache will fix unexplained problems with plug-in output or crashes.

Peace,
Andy.

Hi, please save the preset under a new name when the distortion kicks in and send it to me. It might be an unwanted controller assignment (accidental midi learn etc.). I can compare the preset against the original and find out which parameter is affected, if any at all...

Also, what tempo is your project in?

Cheers,

;) Urs
