What about 1.8 on Receptor 1

Does somebody if system 1.8 is going to run on Receptor Pro 1 ?

It basically ended with an (insulting) upgrade offer that had a time limit on it, and no hope whatsoever for simply installing OS 1.8 on Receptor 1 (based on very questionable reasoning). It really was a fiasco in my opinion. I am sure Muse considers the matter closed...

It's funny (well, tragic actually) how I already see rumblings from Receptor 2 owners regarding the exact same issues.

Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware).

Honestly, you can upgrade Software from older Mac OS or Windows Software to newer versions.
Is Receptor a modern System or not ?
I guess they want to force erverybody to upgrade.

The answer is Samplerobot for windows, and redmatica for Mac.

Yep. They seem to come with a built in obsillescence.

When Receptor 3 comes about, there will probably be no way to upgrade your Receptor 2's OS either.

This the beginning of the end of this Company. Nowadays nobody can afford to take a lot of money from customers with no support of on going development. I don't know any company who is doing this.....who is still existing today.
