(source: avatron)With Air Display, you can use your iPad as a wireless display for your Mac OS X computer
yeah, there are some pen-like implements for iphone & ipad, they do indeed make using sketchpad and some badly designed software (read: too small an UI) much easier and more accurate. would definitely work with AD too.ebow wrote:does anyone know if the ipad can be used with implements such as wacom pens ?? or is it just fingers....i'm thinking some pointed implement would make for more accurate use of the small interface real estate
thanks for the answerpolyfonken wrote:yeah, there are some pen-like implements for iphone & ipad, they do indeed make using sketchpad and some badly designed software (read: too small an UI) much easier and more accurate. would definitely work with AD too.ebow wrote:does anyone know if the ipad can be used with implements such as wacom pens ?? or is it just fingers....i'm thinking some pointed implement would make for more accurate use of the small interface real estate
i'm not a big fan of using styluses with the i-products myself, mostly because I'm so good at losing them but also because iPad and iPhone are multi-touch - most of my favourite programs use these features and switching between a stylus and fingers just f**ks the workflow for me. Air Display made me want one, though.
It's just as true on the ipad.aMUSEd wrote:iPhone does not work with a pen/stylus except for those squishy rubberised ones made to simulate fingers that are useless anyway. Not sure if this is also true of the iPad.
I mainly got it for sketching but it was far too draggy and imprecise - worse than a finger and no comparison with a Wacom for serious graphicspolyfonken wrote:It's just as true on the ipad.aMUSEd wrote:iPhone does not work with a pen/stylus except for those squishy rubberised ones made to simulate fingers that are useless anyway. However. Just how true that really is depends on how you use your iphone/pad, as an example a lot of graphics guys I know wouldn't agree with you a bit, for them having that rubberized stylus is a must when sketching.
