I have just upgraded my Receptor from v1 to v2 (Pro). I have attempted to reinstall Ivory, which was on my Receptor 1, but have run into the following problems.
1. I have downloaded the installer for Ivory 1.6 again, which is what I used last time. I have also copied all the files over from the Ivory DVD's and as far as I can see, they are in the correct location (C\Samples\Synthogy\Ivory\Ivory Items). The instructions on Plugorama state that in order to authorise Ivory, I need to click on "Run Utility" and then select "Ivory" - however, "Ivory" isn't there (only Ivory Library Tools".
2. I tried to load a patch to see if it would work. If I do this the box in the centre of the GUI states "no piano keyset". If I click the downward arrow there are no keysets available to select.
It has occurred to me that maybe these problems have arisen as I should be downloading the Ivory 1.7 installer, since my operating system is now v1.8. Is this correct ? If so, I note that I now have to use an Ilok.
I would be grateful if any Receptor 2 users that have successfully installed Ivory could walk me through the process, including using Ilok. Do I have to insert the Ilok in the USB port on the front panel of the Receptor every time I wish to use Ivory ?

If you did indeed download the Ivory 1.6 installer, there should be no need for the iLok, and you should see the 'ivory' option availalbe. However, I wonder if you can check next time it's loaded on your Receptor, the Ivory version number is in the upper right hand corner of the Ivory GUI.
Normally 1.6 Ivory (if not registered) should give you a warning about the grace period when you load it. Do you see this or not?

Thanks for your reply, Actually I decided to download v1.7 and Ivory now works fine with the Ilok inserted.
Will you be developing an installer for Ivory II when this is released shortly ?

Support for Ivory II is certainly in the books, but I'm not in a position to know how soon it will be available.
