Receptor 2 problems

The problems began when "direct installing" Akoustik Piano & B4II. Receptor remote couldn't see the NI update zip on my laptop's harddrive. After moving the zips to receptor's hard drive, both plugins installed fine.

The patch banks had a similar problem. Receptor couldn't see the zip file on its own drive [c:\windows\temp]! This is when I tried changing network sharing settings and permissions for the receptor using windows 7 x64...[haha my fault ]

Now, the receptor doesn't load plugins at all! When I use the "Refresh Plugins" command via remote, it says all my plugins must be iLok protected [not true of course]. When attaching a monitor/mouse to receptor directly...the network box in the setup tab says "ifplug/ifplugd-starter both dead".

This plus finding out Komplete 6 can't be installed is bumming me out. I bought the receptor to be more reliable than my WinXP laptop live rig, but am now thinking of a return.

Any solutions?

Was there ever a solution to this? I have a Receptor doing the same thing now - unreachable over the network, and in the Setup page it says "ifplug/ifplugd-starter both dead". Also it seems the screen is stuck on the "Initializing" text, even though the mixer and everything has come up fine on a monitor.
