I don't get it, why it isn't possible to insert VST Plugins in MuSynth without using a MUX, should I think always the other way round not to use MuSynth in benefit of MUX...what are the main differences between them???
Just a little thing: If we shall work more with MUX instead of MuSynth, could you make a shortcut of MUX in the instrument section as well...would help me a lot.
Trancit
BTW: I did a little advertising in the energyXT forum....I think there are a lot of potential customers for you...many of them are very unhappy with the current state and developement (or better nonexistent developement)...
You should think of a crossgrade offer for energyXT users...

Yes it should work. I.e. in the MUX Play Editor.Trancit wrote:The "select next/previous preset" doesn't work with MUX, does it?
Or are you trying to use them in the MUX Deep Editor?
The original reason was to push that all MuSynth patches are compatible on all systems. But we have been discussing this here and chance is high that the MuSynth and the MUX will merge into 1, then MuSynthCore will be renamed to MuSynth.I don't get it, why it isn't possible to insert VST Plugins in MuSynth without using a MUX
Currently: MUX = general purpose (with emphasis on effects) MuSynth = for synth patches. But cfr above, the difference between them is small.should I think always the other way round not to use MuSynth in benefit of MUX...what are the main differences between them???
Euh, what do you mean with 'instrument section'?Just a little thing: If we shall work more with MUX instead of MuSynth, could you make a shortcut of MUX in the instrument section as well...would help me a lot.
Thanks!BTW: I did a little advertising in the energyXT forum....I think there are a lot of potential customers for you...many of them are very unhappy with the current state and developement (or better nonexistent developement)...
How do you see this? You should think of a crossgrade offer for energyXT users...

The first time I tried, it wasn't working...starting MU.LAB again, it workedmutools wrote:Yes it should work. I.e. in the MUX Play Editor.Trancit wrote:The "select next/previous preset" doesn't work with MUX, does it?

Sorry, the correct name is "Synths"...at the moment it is only in "Effects"Euh, what do you mean with 'instrument section'?

The header of the XT2 window shows the name of the license holder...so a screenshot would be enough to proove. How do you see this? You should think of a crossgrade offer for energyXT users...
For everybody, who prooves by screenshot to be an owner of a XT2 license, you could offer a discount...
I think this could animate unhappy XT2 users...
BTW: my advertising thread was locked

i love mulab, but i think that opening a mulab thread on another company's forum is rude. if an energyxt user opened an xt fan thread here, would you think his act is uncool?

I only did this, because I am really convinced, that XT2 is a dead project, which will never grow in the promised way. All users, which bought XT2 because of the promises of Jorgen 3 years ago were (imho) cheated...perhaps 25% of the promised features were implemented in the last years...this is even quite rude as well and I know, many unhappy people are searching for an alternative...bpblog wrote:i love mulab, but i think that opening a mulab thread on another company's forum is rude. if an energyxt user opened an xt fan thread here, would you think his act is uncool?
For me, MU.LAB is the closest to XT2 Standalone, there is no big advertising and disscussion about MU.LAB in the Host Forum, so I wanted only let other people know, what alternative I have found and why not in that forum, where all the people who are interested in an alternative looking at first.
Now thread is blocked... ok...but one of the first readers was very happy about letting him know...
Imho, if the users are happy with their product, others could open as many fan post for other plugins here as they like...they would be no risk for the product...
How many people talking in Looptalk (FL Studios internal forum) from benefits of Reaper or Reason or PT...same at Reapers forum...they are not blocked...
Nobody there says "Oh, this is rude man"...

I was a user of XT and I had some rough time in that forum trying to wake up some of them long ago. Anyway XT development is on the way back but it's not going to be innovative as it is here.
The Host forum is the best place to advertise MU.LAb. I did quite a lot of work there with other users from here as well (and create friends and enemies too!).
Orion tread was good with so many unhappy users looking to move on.
Look for treads with users looking for alternative rather then arguments among users. There is where you find open mind musicians.

Maybe just the window focus that wasn't right?Trancit wrote:The first time I tried, it wasn't working...starting MU.LAB again, it workedmutools wrote:Yes it should work. I.e. in the MUX Play Editor.Trancit wrote:The "select next/previous preset" doesn't work with MUX, does it?

If you think there is something wrong please let me know. Thanks.

When the MuSynth and MUX are merged, this will be solved automatically as the classification will simply be done per patch.Sorry, the correct name is "Synths"...at the moment it is only in "Effects"Euh, what do you mean with 'instrument section'?
