Hi,

as a new user, i have the first question :-)

Is it possible to cut a midi sequence so that each part contains only the midi events which are really inside this current part start and end? I guess it got to be something like duplicating the sequence and removing all notes which are out of bounds.

Best regards,
Uwe

There is no such single function.
But as you say you can get to the desired result in a couple of steps.

Also this thought: The notes that are not played don't hurt, right?
So why is it so important to you to remove them?

The notes do not hurt, that's right. About 20 years ago i worked with Cubase and cutting and joining of parts worked that way (maybe also nowadays). I think, both principals have advantages. Probably arranging parts is a bit easier if you seperate the events completely - maybe a feature in one of the next releases ;-) Well, i have to work a while with your program :-)
