Man, how do I import an MP3 or a .wav? I searched this forum and mulab.
I tried to drag\drop - highly preferred for this simple user.
I tired to find dropdown menu, nothing??
Anyone?
Import MP3 ??

Mp3 is not (yet?) supported, but drag and drop should work with wav files.
Also, from the MU.LAB docs found here:
Q: How can I import an audio file?
A: You can import audio by using Audio File Parts.
Just draw a new part in the Composer using the pencil tool, then choose "Audio File", then browse for the file you want to play.
Then eventually double-click that new part and trim the start point in the Audio Lab.
Alternatively, you could also simply drag & drop the audio file onto the composer.

Thanks D.H. for the help.
The pencil tool\opem file is not showing any mp3's.
There seems to be no "simply drag and drop" mp3's onto the composer.
Eh, I'm probaly missing something, but thanks all the same.
I can remake the file into a wav but the time do that is monsterous - ie import from cassette tape. Eh, guess this isn't my tool - I need something simple.

If all you want is to edit some audio, you want a dedicated audio editor like Audacity.

Thanks, PJ, I've got Mixbus, it froze with tRacks 670 - sounded great! until controls locked up. I'll try Audacity. I'm on OSX. Thanks. Oh, I'm still in it for MuTools as a customer.
