why when i increase the res in the xmf the volume lowers so much ?

and is there any tutorial which shows how to get the most out of this type of filter ?

Switch the zebra mode to 2.3 (right click display at top, choose 2.3 mode). Urs scaled back the filter volume of the xmf in 2.5.

and yes the xmf , really rocks , you can get some really cool "distorted" sweeps.

zebra 2 is the only synth i need. it rocks !
