I was just wondering.. In ACE, how many cables is the maximum possible to use in one patch and still get a sound out of all that spaghetti?
Has anyone tried yet?

As every input can onyl take 1 cable each and as there are 38 (I think) input sockets, 38 would also be the maximum number of cables. Depending on the choice of outputs to connect with each input, it would still make sound. There will however not be a change of cpu consumption.

Is there any plan to update ACE to make 'see through' cords? When I use the cables I have to try and disconnect to see exactly what's behind them sometimes and it slows down the workflow. Something that would help get by that mess of spaghetti would be nice.

I just did for kicks ... how strictly do we define 'sound' hereNielzie wrote: Has anyone tried yet?
I guess the other extreme is, how deeply can modules be chained serially, such that one module does audio-rate modulation on the next, and still come up with 'sound'
