Beta Release of Direct Install 2 for Windows - Komplete 6 / Receptor 2

We are testing a new method of using our Direct Install technology. Direct Install 2 will copy the plugin discs to your Receptor hard drive and run the installer from there. This avoids the issue of a network not being able to mount a CD/DVD drive. This test cycle is for Windows users who want to install Komplete 6 only, support for Apple and other products are currently
in development. Results from this test will speed up that process.

If you would like to participate please first go to museresearch.com/beta login with your plugorama user id and request to be a beta user. Once aproved you will be notified and Komplete 6 beta will be available to install.

IMPORTANT: To report a problem please open a Help Desk Ticket from plugorama.com, use the following text for these data fields:
Nature of Problem * Other >> Misc. / Other - Enter Below
Subject * Beta Test of Direct Install 2

After getting approval for beta you can move forward with these steps.
Instructions for the new Direct Install 2 and Receptor Tools is located here for download.

Has there been any further development with this?

Rick,

Will the new Direct Install 2 be of any help for unsupported plugins?

Post

I am attempting to install Komplete 6 using direct install. I copy the first disc over fine, then get an error message trying to copy the 2nd (or 3rd etc.) disc saying the file path does not exist. Do I need to copy these files directly into the temp folders to get around this? I notice that the 1st installation disc is not creating all of the folders for the sample package files; kontakt has 3 orchestral sample folders on the disc, but only 1 is created in the temp folder when I run the first installation disc. Is this a known issue? Are there workarounds?
thanks for any insights!
