Hi , i have a patch :

3 osc 1 xmf.
every "tune" of each osc is modulated by lfog1

lfog1 settings : 8/1 --- 8 bars

My goal : to have the pich go up and down continiously , whitout hard or fast changes.

lets say the amplitud of the lfo is from +100 to - 100

there is a moment where the lfo is going around , say , 50. and then you can hear it jumps to say 90.

can u tell me how to fix this ?

by the way i am using in live the "long note " feature, wich is a loop of for example 1 bar ,but it starts looping at the half of that bar , so it continues "forever" but you just have a 1 bar drawn note.

also ,in the video it takes like one minute for the "jumo" in the pich to hear , so dont desperate plese.

hope u can help me thanx !

I think it's a bug. There's another thread about it, the "sync to bar" feature of the LfoG modules seems to miss a beat or two every now and then.

I'm onto it, but keep bugging me about it until I tell you "I fixed it".

I noticed something very similar.. though with normal LFO2.

I was trying to get the Pan of the main channel (only using one channel) to shift left to right smoothly, and it seems it jumps between the ears at points at random.. definitely not smooth (despite using a sine wave). Urs do you think this is related?

I ended up having to just turn down the amplitude so that it's not as obvious, but then the effect is not what I'd like.

I'm using the 64-bit build FYI if that matters.

Sent to your email. Thanks for taking a look. My issue may not be related, and may very well by my own mistake or misunderstanding.. it being broken would imply LFOs just don't work correctly and I don't think that's very likely given the number of people using the synth :)

I'm just confused.

Was that directed at someone else?

What's this "swing issue in live"?

Post

to someone else ? no to urs.

the arp and i guess the lfoßs go out of sync in live.

You replied with quoting me, which typically means you're addressing the person you're quoting, hence the confusion :P

Also I didn't see you are the same person as the original poster :)

When you say "in live" I'm guessing you mean in Ableton Live.

I'm running Cubase BTW FWIW.
