Hey all,
Just came across this FREEWARE Mellotron VSTi

Works great on my Receptor! And its free!!!
(In 1997 i paid $689 AU for a JV expansion card for my JV1080 so i could have mellotron sounds. Times they are a changin')

these were mentioned here last year i think, tho that looks'like a newer version than what i have..cool

Keyboards of the 60's & 70's had them all (choir and strings) EXCEPT the flutes, which were on the Vintage Keyboards board. Roland was being cheeky me thinks....

There is also a Mellotron Plugin called 'Tapetronic' included in the Elektrostudio Analog Pack.
