Does anyone have Altiverb working on Receptor?
If so, what version of Altiverb? What version of Receptor? How was it installed? How was it authorized? etc. The official word from Audio Ease is that it does not work, possibly because it is Mac only.
We would also be interested in hearing about other convolution reverb plugins running on Receptor.
Thanks in advance.

Regarding convolution reverb I can recommend the free S.I.R. from knufinke, which is just a pure dll file and has no copy protection at all (since it's free):
http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir1.html
The only drawback is that it has a fixed latency of 8960 samples which makes it unusable as insert effect if there's no adc, but still could be used as send effect, where this is less critical
Since I don't own a Receptor I can't say if it will work, but you could try to install it as unsupported plugin
The plugin has no impulse responses by itself, but there are various sources for excellent free impulse responses, the best I know is this one (choose "ressourcen->impulse responses):
http://www.echochamber.ch/
Knufinke too has a commercial version of S.I.R. which has zero latency and just uses a license key for protection - so it presumably *should* be no problem to license it on Receptor - it too comes with a response library:

Well possible that this is the perfect convolution reverb for Receptor

Thanks for the information. We'll be looking at that one.
