The fx are on the bottom left side of the gui, just click them on so they turn red, make sure the mix setting on them, is up high enough.
With the Lfo's you must first designate a parameter to modulate, then make sure the amplitude setting is at a high enough setting to hear it's influence.
Try some of the many presets out for it, to see how things work with it.

i found and this version they turn darker grey and seems i must click them with ctrl. lfo i really make what you say but still no results at least last time. somehow what i ever do i can modulate symmetry (changes wave form little bit i think) but when i try filtter modulation no results. I tested all what i can imagine... it seems LfoG1 parameter what i must use modulate when i want resultsmcnoone wrote:The fx are on the bottom left side of the gui, just click them on so they turn red, make sure the mix setting on them, is up high enough.

There are actually 3 methods of activating effects: double-click, right-click and select "Active", or cmd-click (Mac) / ctrl-click (PC).JPQ wrote:ZebraCM how i can use effects ? i dont understand effect section use it i tested all ways what i can even think. my version is form Computer music 127 magazine cover dvd.(july 08 ).
Example:i also cannot get custom lfo waveforms work i know how i modify them and i think i know how i set how much they control filter but i dont hear/see
1) Load the "UH Initialize" patch
2) take filter cutoff down to about 12 o'clock (i.e. the center)
3) click on one of the two user-definable modulation knobs (to the left of Cutoff) and select e.g. LFO2.
4) Take that same knob up to e.g. +50. Play keyboard
5) in the LFO panel, click on the LFO2 tab, watch the wave go up and down!
6) in the LFO panel, click on the Waveform button, select "User", click wildly in the graphic...

You really need to spend a lot of time learning it.
Learning how things work in ZebraCM, will take some time.
Keep experimenting, and after some time you'll understand things better.
You can read the Zebra online manual to help you out.
http://www.u-he.com/zebra/manual/
It covers almost everything in ZebraCM, but many of the extra parts are for Zebra2 only. So take a look at it.
