Hey Vojtech,
what i miss in your bundles is an eq mix of the best functions of Dmg Audio Equality, Fabfilter ProQ and Voxengo Gliss Eq3.
From the DMG Audio Equality the auto listen function. The Slope function between 6 and 48db. This is what i really miss in your eq's.
From The Gliss Eq the dynamic behaviour and the Multiple cross-track spectrum analyzer.
Think about.
Thanks and greetings

Hi Svama, could you please give me more information about what these features do? The dynamic eq is planned, but I'm a little confused what the others mean.

Yeah! A cross between Pro-Q and GlissEQ would be amazing!Svama wrote:what i miss in your bundles is an eq mix of the best functions of Dmg Audio Equality, Fabfilter ProQ and Voxengo Gliss Eq3.

What is so good about Pro-Q anyway? I don't see nothing else than an ordinary equalizer with lots of chit-chat about how good it is

The Auto listen button, solos the band youre working on and mutes the rest of the bands, for better finding the sweet spot for the eq. This happens when you change the q or the frequency or both together.
The slope function is important for the High- and Lowpass. It changes the rate of change for it. Abrupt or a flatter angle.
Take a look at the DMG Audio Equality, great functions.
The multispectrum analyzer gives you the possibility to compare the analyser of different signals in one eq plugin. Thats great for compare bass and bassdrum and for a better equing of these both for example.
But take a look at the Voxengo Gliss Eq v3, that's easier than thousand words.
Thanks and greetings

Hi Vojtech,
another wish for a new Eq is to highlight the frequency bands, for which instrument it takes effect. This highlighted areas helps to remind of the signal types present in specific frequency ranges.
Take also a look at Voxengo GlissEq. This Plugin does it. But it could be better and i think you can do this.
More flexibility, like building own frequency ranges and more specefic instrument frequency ranges, like guitar, piano and so on.
Thanks and greetings for the best and most flexible upcoming eq in the future

You can edit Mid/Side or Left/Right on the same pageMeldaProduction wrote:What is so good about Pro-Q anyway? I don't see nothing else than an ordinary equalizer with lots of chit-chat about how good it is.
You select multiple points on the eq and move them around together
You can split Eq points to be two mid/side or left/right points
You can have 24 points on the eq, each with their own type, stereo setting etc.
You can drag the actual response line of the eq and it automatically add eq
points to achieve the shape you want
you can bypass, delete or split multiple points at the same time
You can limit drag movements to horizontal or vertical
You can change Q by dragging the points (without moving them of course)
There are a lot more things you can do but you get the idea
Edit:
Also say you wanted to create a whole load of notches with a narrow Q, you can get one and slpit it a a few times then just select them all and switch them to stereo or you can make a bunch of points and change all their Qs at the same time...
The usability is the thing that people get excited about AFAIK
Edit 2: You could take advantage of their 30-day free demo if you really want to know what all the 'chit-chat' is about!

Thanks folks, I have checked some of them out (ProQ remains) and there are some features, which could be useful, so added to to-do list. Some of the ProQ stuff is already done, some cannot be done / I think it's not a good idea, but there are some things that sound cool, so I'll check and see

I totally agree - this is one of the features in Voxengos plugs that I appreciate very much, and something that I miss every-time I work with the otherwise fine Melda plugs/EQs!audington wrote:Yeah the listen (press ctrl to listen to current band) is fantastic in GlissEQ
Another fine thing in Voxengos plugs is the well implemented M-S operation

...and one more thing - analyzer function! I know it's on MAutoEQ, but do wish it would be implemented in more of the Melda EQs!
I have to say that I appreciate to work with Melda plugs in general, and it's a relief that we don't have to deal with all this cheap lookalike hardware stuff.
I like the GUIs!

Thank you! Finally someone, I have seen quite a few posts complaining "why the plugins don't have knobs"... I personally think, that software looking as hardware is an archaism and if not, I'll rather let the other 1000 companies do itmljung wrote:...and one more thing - analyzer function! Anyway about the analyser - there are some plans with this, it needs to be planned further though
