So I have an OSC, a shaper and a FMO.

I drag the FMO on the shaper, and they exange places... but this happens....

What is going on here?

What is it you're trying to do?

There's no reason to drag onto another, unless you really do want to swap them out... this is the normal behavior.

If you want FM01 to go after the shaper, then simply drop it below it... anyway, I'll wait to say more until I know what you're tying to do

Post

The point is not what I'm trying to do... this happened by accident.

Why when I drag a shaper on an FMO there's this line going from the OSC to the shaper?

Right-click on the shaper, and check to see what it's send and receive are set to.
As it's shown, it should be routed to slot1.
That's how it's showing anyway.

Sometimes the swapping of modules can get a little wacky like, with regard to where the ins and outs are going.

Post

Yeah, dragging one module onto the other in the Grid causes them to swap their position.

You discovered a bug however. A module that is set to process from the "same" channel will retain the input from the previously assigned channel. And that's of course wrong. It should also swap it input channel.

Will look into it. It's on the long list of bugs that rarely occurr and hardly harm.

Thanks Urs, that makes sense.
