It seems this is only possible to do with an existing lfo

Is this a bug?

Post

It's not a bug, I believe it is to prevent modulation feedback. I'd love if you could modulate lfo parameters freely but I assume it'd come at an enormous CPU cost.

Post

You can only modulate LFO2 amplitude with LFO1... LFO3 with LFO2 or LFO1 etc... that is on the actual modulation parameter in the LFO itself

But you can modulate LFO amplitude with any LFO using the mod matrix...

Yeah I thought about that after making the post ... :P

I'm a noob...

Yeah, sorry, it's a chicken and egg problem. I guess I'm too picky and pertfectionist here though. In 99.99% of cases the 1 ms delay will be inaudible...

Huh... I thought circular modulation routing wasn't possible at all. I learn something new all the time. :)

Why yes, with the modmatrix. Only, if you modulate a parameter of any module that's prior to the modulator in the list, it'll have about a millisecond of latency (which is less than the shortest attack time fo any analogue synth...)

That's fine, I'm just happy to know that modulation feedback is possible within Zebra. I'm just puzzled why I didn't know that before (maybe I did know and simply forgot :hihi:). Much of the generative stuff I do within my modular is based around on stuff I've read from Ian Fritz... http://home.comcast.net/~ijfritz/ch_circ.htm so I have a lot of fun with routing in Bazille and Ace. It's cool to know I can achieve similar stuff with Zebra!
