-Update 26 Jan 2011-
Hello again. So I've been working on some new Zebra sounds.
I've composed a short piece to show what I'm working on.

I'm still in the process of reading the manual and I'm going to take a few weeks to get some sounds together rather than just posting bits randomly. And hopefully they will be sounds some will find usefull.
Thanks again for any comments and feedback, ScottAC

"Starlight LFO 5" is super nice! Also "LFO Starfall"
I like the first two "Really Nice Organs"
Most of the others are kind of breadnbutter, I dunno if that's what you were going for or not. But overall, nice!
I'm going to put up some synthesized metallic percussion made with Zebra in a little bit. You can give me a scathing review then

Thanks!. As for breadnbuttter, I just liked the way they came out, I should say I'm still in a learning stage of sound design and I've learned more by just "knob twisting" then reading about the basics but I'm reading more. One of the greatest thing about Zebra I think is that is it so easy to start programming, yet it seams to have endless options and it seems Urs has more to add.Esgalachoir wrote:"Starlight LFO 5" is super nice! Yes, Zebra is easy to jump into, so you can get away with just about anything once you're into it
Do you mean that you're reading the manual for Zebra? Or are you reading articles, books, blogs, etc about synthesizer patch design?
I really like making my own waveforms, something I've always had fun with.
I like sitting down with one oscillator, drawing up 16 unique waveforms, then cycling through them with various modulation sources until I get something that catches my ear, I've made some nice pads that way.
For my little metallic percussion bank, I've relied heavily on the comb filters and their various functions.
And ya, Urs is a genius...gotta love those Germans and their synthesizers
Glad I was able to help you out

Well done AC...
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

NICE! I just played a small piece using the Vangelis pad. Reminds me of(as do some of the your other sounds)the sound track to Book Of Eli, great sound track to that movie, I loved the movie as well.Esgalachoir wrote:Here we go. It's not quite all percussion(I decided not to catagorize)
