Have a new good year!

Could it be that that specific folder is marked as 'System' or 'Hidden'?

Happy Newyear to everyone!

Wish you a happy and wonderful 2011!

Yup! Gelukkig Nieuwjaar Jo.

I'm still using MU.LAB all the time despite of never posting in the Mutools forum.

:D

I remember you reported some (little) issues on your OSX system, but so everything is running smooth now?

Post

Oh yeah - I could fix that recording bug ages ago using your blocksize trick. It's still tending to hiccup when a new sequence starts/a new synth preset is loaded, but all he mixdowns are fine.

I'm still running version 3.0.38 on 512 MB of RAM but l'll try out the latest version on my new Mac Mini (2.4GhZ duo, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.6) soonish.

Marco :)

Ah yes, i'm very curious how it will run on the larger RAM system, as i always thought the accidental hickups are caused by the 'small' (todays' context) amount of RAM and so the OSX virtual memory manager has to swap memory in/out from the disk.

Same issue here ...only it won't find my vst folder !

Vsts are in C:\Program Files\Music Apps\VSTPlugins

It just doesn't see it ?

Further info :
Mu.Lab is in - C:\Program Files\Music Apps\MULAB
but I have had the same result moving it to c:\MULAB as well .
Any Ideas

Post

Is that on Windows 7?

Windows XP SP2

Further more it doesn't see the C:\Program Files\Music Apps as well as the C:\Program Files\Music Apps\VSTPlugins

Hell it doesn't even see C:\Program Files\Music Apps\MULAB for that matter .
So any ideas yet ?

im sure if you are patient, jo will solve your problem for you. he has for every other problem thread here, why wouldnt he for you? there is no reason for your tone.

btw, are you sure its not your system 'tweaks' that are giving rise to this problem? im not aware of others who have the same symptoms, and i sure have never experienced what you describe and i use the same os. why is that?

No tone ? IDK were you even get that ?

No system tweaks just basic xp-sp2 install with the last security updates to it and all vsts installed in to a program sub folder aka programs/music apps/vstplugins .

I'll step into this deeper asap. I'll have to make a special M3 version that does specific logging. Talk soon.
