Hi there,
I use Artillery for a while now and thought I have no issues with it.
Though I got a brand new pair of monitor speakers and now I can hear some sound shaping that's going on.
I primary use it for granular stuff, e.g. the time-stretcher and the different loop effects. When one of those effects is triggered it sounds like there are some phase issues or there's a high frequency push in the side signal (?) - at least it sounds brighter.
The "Mix" control is always at 100%, effect level is at +/- 0.
I also played with the other parameters like X-fade and such, but I couldn't manage to make it sound "clean".
My DAW is Reaper(32Bit) and I'm running it on WindowsXP SP2.
I can provide sound samples if that helps.
In addition to Artillery I'm using NI's The Finger which is absolutely clean on looping stuff, so I think it's not a general issue of granular processing.
Am I doing something wrong maybe?
Cheers,
Doc

I forgot to mention the version, it's Artillery 2.2.0
Here is a short example with an amen-break style drumloop: http://www.file-upload.net/download-309 ... e.wav.html
The first 5 seconds are the original sample, the last 5 seconds are with the "Looper" device triggered in Artillery2.
I decreased the Effect Level setting to equal the loudness.
It's more obvious without doing this but it still can be heard, especially on the hats/tambourines.
And here is a screenshot of the settings: http://www.pic-upload.de/view-8374253/A ... s.png.html
