Is the new beta much more CPU intensive?

My System Performance meter in LAP 6.3.2 used to hardly register with Zebras loaded,if at all, now a four note chord can cause the meter to peak and the sound to crackle. This is especially noticable with Magnus's lovely 'stars' preset. I'm running 10.3.1 on a DP 533 with 1.5 Gb RAM. It's still a thing of beauty Urs, I'm not unhappy, just mystified a bit.

There should not be any difference in performance.
But, depending on number of voices played, especially with Voicing parameter set to "quad", more cpu is used.
The preset you mention utilizes the highest number of voices: 4 voices per note played ("quad"), and 24 voices in total. - I guess, you could just set it to "double" and 16 voices, without destroying the sound.
Cheers,
Urs
