Inserting additional bands

I know the onscreen help probably opens the answer to this question, but the contrast in most of those is such that I cannot make out many of the words.

So,lets say I am in multi-band chorus. I want to add another band(assume only one band right now). How do I insert another band? I have tried to read the help, tried to use control-click, shift-click, ... I aint getting there.

DO I always have to go to a template or is there a way to do this from the top screen graphics?

There are times where I am looking for a bit of high end shimmer and want to boost the chorusing (or something else) on a sound without messing with the rest of the spectrum.
