Hi,
I just bought at used 1.0 Rev C. I followed the instructions in the manual to load a factory sound and use my midi controller to the midi in and the main outs to my mixer.

no matter what I try, I'm not getting any sound.

I also updated it to the latest OS, 1.7.

**Update: Now I'm getting sound but only when using UniWire no stand alone.
Any ideas? Thanks!**

Any ideas? Think it's broke?

I hope this is not redundant, I searched for "no sound" and didn't come up with anything.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Riley

It seems that your "standalone" problem could be due to:

/1/ your MIDI data is not getting to the VST instrument for some reason. Check the MIDI channel you're transmitting on and what the Receptor channel is set to receive on.
/2/ the Receptor channel that your VSTi is in does not have its output routed to the main outs. Check the output assignment matrix by clicking the output button at the bottom of the Receptor channel.
/3/ the Receptor audio board is not seated properly. I had a problem on a brand new Receptor a few years back; the ribbon cable on the top of the audio card was not completely connected. I seem to recall the card was the one standing vertically next to the power supply. Unplug the power cord, pop the top and check it out.

Good luck!

Thank you Batgab!
I turned it off, plugged in a monitor and usb mouse and could easily see all the routing and midi channel asigning needed done.
It's great now, sounds incredible. Thanks again. Riley
