Hi.
Looking into Howards amazing Zebra manual, I noticed there are 2 OSC FX modes I don't have in Zebra 2.5. PhaseDist and Warp. Descriptions of them sounds cool. Can't wait to try 'em. Then I noticed the manual is actually supposed to be (according to first page) for Zebra 2.5 too. :-/
So are they just in "ready to bunde with next version" state and Howard wrote them in to do it in one take, or I have some problem with my instalation?
Thx for any kind of reply. :-)

Howard has been writing the manual to the Zebra 2.5+ release that will eventually arrive. You can try out the Zebra 2.5+ betas found in this thread:

They have the extra FX modes (thanks to Sendy for the suggestion/feedback) as described in this thread:

Enjoy!

I've seen somewhere here that you cannot use both of the current 2.5 version and the new beta version at the same time. one will always overwrite the other.

Call me a bit too much carefull, but I don't feel like trying that new beta while my zebra is so stable and awesome right now.

I guess it's making it some kind of surprise to me for the release.

I'd like to know if we know when the "real" update will happen ?!?

It's hard to say. Urs in the past doesn't usually announce dates and he's currently on vacation in Australia with limited connectivity. If I had to guess I'd say no sooner than March/April, but that's just a guess from me.

Good decision. The current beta still has a few little bugs that need sorting.

Agree with arbee. :-) I'l better w8 too.
But looking forward so much though. :-)
Btw in the manual you write there's gonna be another distortion algorithms in future. Does this touches the version we're talking about, or it's matter of Zebra3? (Don't get me wrong somehow, just wondering. :-))

Usually Urs betas are hardly distinguishable from release versions they are so solid, but this one has some problems which I guess are due to the change to 64bit... so waiting is good

Just a possibility Urs had already mentioned (here in kvr, I think) a while back.

Cool. Still, seems like there's a bright future for Zebra. :-)
