Thanks very much for Thesys. Some things I would love to see and do:
1. Automate pattern selection - I mean, specifically, as a vst parameter in a host. It seems you are able to automate the Preset Number, but not the patterns within a preset. Also, when opening a saved project, Thesys "resets" to the first pattern even if that's not the pattern selected when the file was saved.
2. Assignable MIDI send channel - would be GREAT if this were built-in. There is at least one other sequencer out there that is nowhere near as nice as Thesys, but is able to do this.
3. Expanded pattern sequencer - would like to see at least twice the number of available steps, and options to set the number of repeats of the entire "song" sequence: once, twice, infinite loop, etc.
4. Automating the rest of the "Action" section: pitch, etc.
5. A way to "link" two or more patterns so that they play together in sequence when triggered. Or, maybe add "lanes" to the left of the pattern sequencer editor similar to the Modulation lanes. This would make song-sequencing a lot more powerful/flexible.
Forgive me if we can already do these things and I just haven't found how yet. I realize all or most of these features could be implemented with pretty basic workarounds, but these features built-in would entirely eliminate the need to use anything else (for me). Thanks!

Ok sorry - found this; should've looked harder first.Yes there are 3 channels for Consequence, because Consequence can have 3 different midi output streams. I am not sure what you expect if Thesys could send it's midi on another channel ? Where is the benefit ? Would you like to have the modulation on another channel ? Playing multiple patterns on different channels is not an option, because this would interfere with the concept of the pattern sequencer and the 'trigger pattern by key' concept. - Sugar Bytes
That is what i meant; multiple MIDI output streams from Thesys. I see what you are saying though. I am also using it in AudioMulch specifically - the multiple send streams would be a cool convenience in this host and similar. I agree that in full-fledged DAWs this is a moot point. Anyway, it is worth the price even without that feature - thanks again.
